Amanda Liptak

"Of Mind and Body"

Amanda Liptak spent her childhood and early adult life in the dance industry, which exposed her to unhealthy thoughts and habits regarding weight and body.

Many dancers did not take care of their bodies and became victims of diet culture’s strict food rules. This is why Liptak is devoted to teaching whole food nutrition that is based on each client’s needs rather than advocating for a one-size-fits-all approach.

She believes that by helping clients realize a positive relationship with food they will learn that a restrictive diet is not necessary, unless a medical diagnosis requires it.

Liptak is a registered dietitian, nutritionist and business coach with a concentration in integrative and functional nutrition. She is the owner of Nutrient Rich Life Nutrition Coaching, which provides virtual one-to-one and group nutrition support for men and women.

Her team of dietitians and Liptak are specialty trained to help clients get to the root cause of their weight-loss resistance. They do this by addressing not just the food, but the whole person, teaching clients how to connect mind and body.

Additionally, there is a focus on inflammation, gut and hormonal health. The goal is for each client to walk away empowered with the tools to make informed nutrition and lifestyle choices on their own so they can keep the weight off for good, maintaining the progress they have made.

Liptak and her team have a combined 50 years of nutrition coaching experience and have helped more than 1,000 men and women live healthier lives. As a Stephen Covey trainer, Amanda is able to connect the dots between mindset and nutrition coaching. She has successfully written and implemented virtual group training programs for emotional eating, functional nutrition, and mindfulness and meditation.

She provides business coaching to other small business owners and dietitians who want to expand their offering in the online space. She regularly mentors dietetic students who want to learn the ropes of building their own virtual private practice.Amanda has a bachelor's in dietetics and nutrition from the University of Akron, holds an advanced certification in adult weight management, is a certified food sensitivity therapist, and Level II certified aromatherapist. She loves a good cup of “jo,” chocolate and pumpkin; best enjoyed when all together!
