Consumer Financial Protection Bureau

If you are having trouble being treated fairly by banks, lenders, and other financial companies, (including payday loan companies), there is a place to turn to for help. The CFPB was established by the U.S. government to help protect consumers and provide information on financial matters.

Information on the CFPB website includes a list of financial tips, updates, known scams, complaint form, and guidance on making financial decisions.

Medina County Health Department provides dental care including exams, cleanings, sealants, root canals, extractions, dentures, fillings, and crowns. For health care, they provide physicals, immunizations, screenings, reproductive health, well-child checks, chronic disease, and dental care. Accepts Medicaid and has sliding scale fees available. They provide support, activities, education and outreach programs, and peer-based recovery support services. You can register landline and cell phones and whether anyone at your business or home would need assistance in an emergency.

The Wireless Emergency Notification System (WENS) is used to notify the community of various emergency situations ranging from high wind and tornado warnings to hazardous waste and law enforcement warnings.
